How to read this page IJEIAI launched in 2026, and indexing applications are underway. Each entry below shows exactly where that process stands. We publish real status rather than an impact factor we have not earned — evaluators check, and so should you.

About the logos on this page A service's logo appears only once IJEIAI is listed there and that service's terms permit display — DOAJ and Crossref both require this. Until then the tile carries a typographic mark.

Why these are listed apart ResearchGate, Academia.edu and Scribd are sharing platforms, not bibliographic databases. They increase how many people see an article, which is genuinely valuable — but listing them under "Indexing" is a well-known predatory-publishing signal, and an evaluator who sees it will discount the whole page. We use these channels and describe them accurately.

How indexing actually happens

Most indexing is not applied for one service at a time. It cascades from two things: a DOI, and clean machine-readable metadata on every article page.

Publish with metadata

Every article page emits Highwire citation_* tags, JSON-LD and Dublin Core.

Register DOIs

Crossref membership; each article deposited on publication.

Automatic harvest

OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, Scilit and Dimensions ingest from Crossref without an application.

Apply where selective

DOAJ, Index Copernicus, then Scopus and Web of Science once a publication record exists.

This is why Crossref sits at the top of our list. It is one application, and it unlocks four or five downstream indexes with no further work — whereas Scopus cannot be applied for at all until there is a sustained publication history to evaluate.

What authors can do

CC BY 4.0 lets you deposit your published article anywhere, at any time, with no embargo. Doing so measurably increases readership and citation:

Upload the published PDF to ResearchGate, Academia.edu and your institutional repository
Add the DOI to your ORCID record — once Crossref is live this happens automatically
Deposit in a subject repository such as Zenodo or SSRN
Link the article from your university profile page

None of this requires our permission. That is the point of publishing under an open licence, and it is the fastest route to visibility while formal indexing is pending.
