About IJEIAI
A peer-reviewed, fully open-access journal for research at the intersection of environmental, social and governance measurement, industrial IoT systems, and applied artificial intelligence.
IJEIAI publishes original research, reviews and case studies for the people who have to make sustainability claims hold up: researchers, carbon verifiers, industrial engineers and policy analysts working on measurable, auditable outcomes in heavy industry — oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, utilities.
The journal was founded in 2026. We published our editorial infrastructure and policies before accepting a single manuscript, so authors and reviewers can see how the journal is run before they commit work to it.
Aim & scope
We consider submissions that advance the theory or practice of sustainability measurement through connected systems and intelligent analysis. Core topics include:
- Carbon accounting, emissions verification and Scope 1/2/3 disclosure methodology
- Industrial IoT architectures — sensor networks, SCADA integration, edge computing, LiFi and VLC systems
- Applied machine learning for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection and disclosure reconciliation
- ESG data governance, audit trails and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Digital twins and simulation for industrial sustainability planning
- Policy and standards research across voluntary and compliance carbon markets
We also actively want work the field tends not to publish: replications, negative results, and deployments that failed for instructive reasons. A verification method that did not work in the field is useful to the next team that tries it.
Publication model
Every article publishes under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence and is free to read from the moment it appears. Authors retain copyright. The journal is funded by article processing charges paid on acceptance — see processing charges for proposed rates and the waiver policy.
Indexing & abstracting
Indexing applications are in progress. Every article page carries the metadata scholarly databases require — Highwire citation tags, JSON-LD and Dublin Core — so articles are harvestable from the day they publish. Current status for each service is on the indexing page.
Journal metrics
Citation metrics will be published here once there is a citation record to report. We would rather show you nothing than a number we cannot substantiate.
Ownership & governance
IJEIAI is published by ReoTek International Journals, the scholarly publishing division of Tekstein Solutions Pvt. Ltd., based at KIIT-TBI, Campus 11, Bhubaneswar, India.
Editorial decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief and editorial board once appointed. The publisher has no role in peer review or in individual acceptance decisions, and no commercial relationship affects whether a manuscript is accepted. Board recruitment is underway — see open roles.
